Some very sad news,
It is with great sadness that I have to tell you that Brother Raymond Eric Alford passed away yesterday (Sunday 11th October) afternoon.

I understand that Bro. Ray, who has endured ill health for some time, recently suffered a stroke and subsequently a heart attack and had spent a little time in the Princess of Wales Hospital. At his request he was discharged from hospital and he passed peacefully at home.

I shall circulate further information when it becomes available.

Ray was born on 15th October 1942. He was initiated into Freemasonry in the Llangynwyd Lodge No.8854 (Maesteg) and became a joining member of Llangeinor Lodge No. 4194 on 7th March 2007. 

He will be greatly missed.
