Some sad news.
It is with extreme sadness that I report the Passing of Bro. David Evans PPrGStwd.

I am sorry to report that, after a long illness bravely fought, Bro. David Evans PPrGStwd, aged 86 years, passed to the Grand Lodge Above, in the Albert Edward Prince of Wales Court home in Porthcawl in the early hours of Tuesday 3rd September.
Bro David had not been well for some time and having been discharged from the Princess of Wales Hospital passed peacefully on his return to the Albert Edward home.
Bro David Evans was initiated into Freemasonry in Llangeinor Lodge No 4194 on 2nd October 1985 and Raised on 5th November 1986.
He served for many years as the Lodge Treasurer his service having been recognised by the award of Past Provincial Grand Steward rank.
He and his wife Sheila were ever present and supported the Lodge’s social events .
He will be greatly missed. 
He was exalted in the Adare Chapter No 9247 on 3rd September 2010.

His funeral will be held in Bridgend crematorium at 13.45 hrs on Thursday 19th September followed by light refreshments at the “Hunter’s Lodge “ Inn.
