It is with deep, deep sadness that I inform you of the passing to the Grand Lodge above of our dear W Bro Bill Lightfoot on Tuesday 17th April after a lengthy stay in the Princess Of Wales Hospital following the fall that broke his hip, subsequently had a replacement hip but struggled to recover properly.

W Bro Bill was 93 years of age and a wonderful Mason, loved and respected by all who new him, his wicked humour enamored him to all. He was initiated into the Ogmore Lodge on the 21st December 1981, Raised on 22nd November 1982, and became a Founder Member of United Services Lodge 9605 in February 1996, Installed as Worshipful Master in November 2010, appointed as PPrGStwd, promoted to PPrSGD and again promoted to PPrGReg in 2017.

W Bro Bill will be sorely missed in the United Services Lodge and Bridgend Good Neighbours, and I will pass on further information in due course of details of the Funeral arrangements.

The Funeral will be held at Coychurch Crematorium at 11a.m. on Thursday 3rd May, and Mrs Mildred Lightfoot and the Family would like to invite you for light refreshments at the Bridgend Masonic Hall following the internment.
