I have been informed by a Mrs Jenkins, a friend of W. Bro. Derek Scone, that Derek was admitted into the Princess of Wales Hospital on Friday for an operation, but unfortunately passed to the “Grand lodge Above” on Sunday.

Mrs. Jenkins will update me once she knows the funeral arrangements **.

Derek was a Joining Member of the Llangeinor Lodge No. 4194 since 7th October 2015 and a Subscribing Member of the Atholl Chapter No. 1752.

Derek was initiated into Freemasonry on 3rd January 1956 and recently celebrated 65 continuous years as a subscribing brother.

Derek would have celebrated his 90th birthday on 4th October this year.
